About Sawyer Petrick
Former Whole Picture Films Writer
Sawyer Petrick worked with Whole Picture Films upon his 2018 graduation from The New School where he had majored in Film. While at Whole Picture Films, Sawyer Petrick consulted on the script for the film “The Speech” and episode one of “The Look,” a web series. Alongside this, he wrote the second episode of "The Look".
While pursuing his degree, Sawyer Petrick wrote several screenplays. One of these, “The Newsboy Racket,” served as his capstone project and earned high honors.
Mr. Petrick has also spent time working in bars and earned an EBS certificate from the New York Bartending School in 2012. He has since worked for both the Bryant Park Grill and Union Square Cafe as a bar back. Outside of bar work, he has office experience in the retail food industry.
Serving as a special projects intern with the ARK Restaurant Group, he created marketing materials for seven of the company’s restaurants. Sawyer Petrick also performed administrative duties and monitored each premises’ daily income projections.Education
